WATCHDOG REPORT April 12, 2026 EST:05.05.00: A free community education resource

Last week’s www.watchdogreport.net

The city of Miami commissioners not knowing what was in a trust and arguing about how this money would be split up should concern all Miami residents. Further the city’s finance committee not meeting for months is also of extreme concern for it is here that the public learns the city’s financial position after a change in administrations and commissioners lack of understanding of the city’s finances and generally only comes to light after a crisis, a problem the city periodically faces with leaders surprised.

I am a believer in the nation’s Constitution and the checks and balances in it. Thus, it is surprising so few elected leaders fight for their rightful role in governance of the natin given their lack of humbleness in real life and this hypocrisy is what is fueling so much of the cynicism Americans are feeling today.

Further, the school; board audit committee will be reviewed next week:  https://api.dadeschools.net/WMSFiles/23/pdfs/25-26/AC_April_7_2026/Agenda.pdf
